Position Overview

HISELECT PTE. LTD. is assisting a large and well-established pre-school group in Singapore with recruitment for multiple positions. This is an opportunity for candidates seeking a stable weekday role in a professional and nurturing educational environment.

Candidates may choose to apply for either the Kitchen Helper or Hygiene Helper/Cleaner position. Both roles play an important part in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for young children and staff.

Work locations are available in Punggol, Tengah, and Tampines, allowing candidates to select a preferred location where available.

Role A: Kitchen Helper

The Kitchen Helper will support the daily preparation and distribution of meals for children while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily meals according to the established menu and relevant ECDA nutritional guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure meals are handled safely and hygienically.
• Distribute prepared meals safely to classrooms.
• Maintain proper food storage and handling procedures.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, workstations, and preparation areas.
• Monitor food quality and maintain good kitchen hygiene standards.
• Purchase fresh and suitable food ingredients when required.
• Follow established food safety and workplace procedures.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Role B: Hygiene Helper / Cleaner

The Hygiene Helper/Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organised environment for children, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout assigned pre-school areas.
• Ensure classrooms, common areas, facilities, and other designated spaces are clean and tidy.
• Carry out routine cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain appropriate hygiene standards throughout the premises.
• Follow pre-school safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Identify and report cleaning or maintenance concerns when necessary.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Physically fit with good stamina.
• Able to perform duties that may involve reaching, kneeling, bending, standing, and moving around for extended periods.
• Responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Previous experience in a pre-school, childcare centre, school, kitchen, or cleaning environment is highly desirable.
• A WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate will be an advantage for candidates applying for the Kitchen Helper role.
• Willing to comply with workplace safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Able to work the required weekday schedule.

Salary and Working Conditions

Salary: SGD 1,800–2,300 per month, depending on the selected role and relevant experience.

Working Hours: 44 hours per week.

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: Off

Available Locations: Punggol, Tengah, or Tampines.
