INVENTORY EXECUTIVE – NORTH REGION
Location: North Region, Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Salary: SGD 2,500–3,300 per month
Position Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Executive to join a team in Singapore’s North Region. This role is suitable for candidates with inventory management experience and strong skills in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, analysing inventory data, coordinating with internal departments, and preparing regular reports. The position also involves supporting administrative export-related activities, including billing and documentation follow-ups.
Candidates should be comfortable working with inventory management systems and analysing stock data to ensure efficient inventory control and smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Input and update stock information in the relevant systems, including stock levels and stock adjustments.
- Ensure inventory transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
- Verify inventory data with internal teams and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform inventory reconciliation to ensure system records match actual stock levels.
Inventory Level Monitoring
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages, excess stock, and unusual stock movements.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends and support effective stock planning.
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to balance supply and demand.
- Monitor key inventory indicators such as stock turnover, days on hand, and reorder points.
- Recommend improvements to optimise inventory levels and reduce unnecessary stock holding.
Coordination and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with purchasing and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments regarding stock availability and requirements.
- Follow up on inventory-related issues and discrepancies.
- Support communication between departments to minimise inventory disruptions.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare regular inventory reports for management review.
- Track and report key inventory metrics, including stock turnover, inventory value, and stockout rates.
- Analyse inventory trends and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Provide recommendations based on inventory data to support business and operational decisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure inventory information is readily available when required.
Administrative and Export Support
- Assist with administrative export-related duties.
- Support billing activities and follow up on required documentation.
- Ensure relevant paperwork is properly maintained and completed.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements
- Minimum ITE qualification or above.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in inventory management.
- Good understanding of inventory management concepts and key metrics.
- Familiarity with stock turnover, days on hand, reorder points, and inventory control.
- Proficient in inventory management systems, particularly SAP/ERP.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; advanced Excel knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with Excel functions such as data analysis and reporting will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Organised, responsible, and able to manage inventory-related tasks efficiently.
