Position Overview

We are currently hiring Halal Food Stall Sales Assistants to join our team at Causeway Point. This opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time candidates who are customer-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food retail environment.

The successful candidate will assist with daily stall operations, including food preparation, grilling, packaging, customer service, stock replenishment, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers and are willing to contribute as part of a supportive team. Full-time candidates will be required to work six days per week according to the assigned roster.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and grilling according to established procedures.
• Pack food items accurately and efficiently for customers.
• Assist with daily retail and stall operations.
• Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
• Introduce and promote food products to customers when appropriate.
• Answer customer enquiries and provide basic information about available products.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and served promptly.
• Replenish food products, packaging materials, and other necessary stock.
• Maintain neat, organised, and attractive product displays.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Keep the food stall, preparation areas, equipment, and surrounding areas clean and hygienic.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures at all times.
• Support other operational or ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
• Able to work weekends and Public Holidays when scheduled.
• Full-time candidates must be able to work six days per week.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers in Malay.
• Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy food stall environment.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Previous food service or retail experience is an advantage but may not be essential, depending on the candidate.

Salary and Working Arrangement

Full-Time: SGD 2,500 per month
Part-Time: SGD 13 per hour with flexible timing

Full-Time Schedule: 6 days per week
Working Hours: According to roster, approximately 8–9 hours per day
Location: Causeway Point, Woodlands
