A professional kitchen and food service operation located in Orchard, Singapore is currently looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join the team as Dishwasher staff. Monthly Salary:

SGD 2,000 – SGD 2,400 per month

Salary will be based on experience, work performance, and overall capability.

 

Working Schedule:

• 5.5 working days per week

• 44 working hours per week

• Shift-based schedule

• Split shift / first half shift / second half shift available

• Weekend and public holiday work according to shift arrangement

 

Job Overview:

The Dishwasher plays an important role in supporting smooth and efficient kitchen operations. The position is responsible for ensuring that all kitchen utensils, dishes, trays, pots, pans, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both kitchen staff and customers.

 

This role also includes maintaining cleanliness around the kitchen and dishwashing areas while assisting kitchen staff with general support tasks whenever necessary.

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, trays, cups, bowls, pots, pans, and cooking equipment properly

• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure equipment is functioning correctly

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas

• Follow hygiene and sanitation procedures according to company standards

• Handle garbage disposal and waste management responsibly

• Ensure kitchen floors and surrounding work areas remain clean and safe

• Assist with unloading and receiving kitchen supplies and ingredient deliveries

• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation or cleaning tasks when required

• Store cleaned kitchen items in their proper designated locations

• Monitor cleaning materials and inform supervisors if supplies are running low

• Comply with HACCP and food safety regulations at all times

• Follow workplace safety procedures and operational instructions from supervisors

 

Physical Requirements:

This position requires applicants to be physically fit and capable of performing active tasks throughout the working shift. Duties may involve:

• Standing for extended periods

• Carrying dishes, trays, and kitchen equipment

• Repetitive cleaning activities

• Working in warm and busy kitchen environments

• Handling large volumes of dishes during peak operating hours
