LORRY ATTENDANT – JURONG EAST

Full-Time | Permanent Position | 5.5-Day Work Week | SGD 2,000–2,200/month

Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Lorry Attendant to support daily transportation, delivery, collection, and loading operations. This is a full-time permanent position suitable for candidates who are comfortable performing physical duties and working closely with drivers, warehouse teams, customers, and other operational personnel.

The successful candidate will assist with the safe handling of goods, maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle, and provide general support for transportation-related activities.

• Working Schedule: 5.5 days per week
• Overtime: Must be willing to commit to OT when required
• Salary Package: Basic salary plus applicable allowances

Working Hours

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Employees may be required to work overtime depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Lorry Attendant will support the driver and operations team in carrying out daily transportation and logistics activities efficiently and safely.

Loading and Unloading

• Assist with loading and unloading goods, materials, equipment, and other items as required.
• Ensure goods are handled carefully during loading and unloading.
• Assist with arranging and securing items appropriately for transportation.
• Support the team in moving goods between designated locations when required.

Transportation Support

• Assist with deliveries and collections according to the assigned schedule.
• Support transportation-related errands and operational tasks.
• Assist the driver with general duties during deliveries and collections.
• Ensure goods and items are handled properly throughout transportation activities.
• Follow instructions from the driver and supervisor during daily assignments.

Vehicle Care and Cleanliness

• Assist in keeping the lorry clean and presentable.
• Check that the vehicle is maintained in good condition and operating properly.
• Report any visible issues, damage, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Support basic vehicle housekeeping and ensure the vehicle is ready for daily operations.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all applicable traffic regulations and company policies.
• Comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
• Handle goods and equipment using appropriate safety practices.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings when working around vehicles, loading areas, and operational sites.
• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and other authorised personnel.

General Duties

• Perform other transportation, delivery, collection, or operational duties as assigned.
• Provide assistance to the team whenever required.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while carrying out daily responsibilities.
• Support smooth and efficient operations across assigned tasks.

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate a responsible and dependable approach to their work.

• Previous experience as a Lorry Attendant, Driver, Delivery Assistant, or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
• Experience in loading and unloading goods is an advantage.
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
• Physically able to perform loading, unloading, and other operational duties.
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures carefully.
• Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Able to work flexible hours when required.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Able to work on weekends or public holidays if operational requirements arise.

Employment Benefits and Work Arrangement

This is a full-time permanent position with a 5.5-day work week. The salary package consists of a basic salary plus allowances, with overtime commitment required when applicable.
