Service Crew Responsibilities

As part of the service team, you will support the restaurant’s daily front-of-house operations and ensure customers receive a pleasant and efficient dining experience.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Handling cashiering and payment transactions
  • Consolidating daily sales information
  • Serving food and beverages to customers
  • Handling reservation calls and customer enquiries
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Listening to customer feedback and responding appropriately
  • Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance
  • Following company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant
  • Assisting with basic food and beverage preparation when required
  • Supporting opening and closing procedures
  • Replenishing necessary items and maintaining an organized work area
  • Carrying out other duties assigned by supervisors

Kitchen Responsibilities

Depending on operational requirements, team members may also assist with kitchen duties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and SOPs
  • Ensuring food is prepared accurately and served within the required timeframe
  • Following proper food safety and hygiene practices
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen
  • Cleaning food preparation areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Handling ingredients and food products responsibly
  • Supporting the kitchen team during busy operating periods
  • Following workplace health and safety procedures
  • Performing other ad hoc kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors
